Sushi Making Night!
Trying to make small talk during our engagement session, I brought up that I'd tried making sushi a few weeks ago. To my surprise, Luke and Sarah had said they had tried it as well! A few weeks later, there we were, sitting around a table with enough homemade sushi to make a few sumo wrestlers full.
And now, a few months later, sushi making night become a great past time! These guys are so much fun to hang out with and definitely know how to roll some rockin' sushi! Here are a few pictures from our last sushi making night!
Step 1: Cut up everything!
Step 2: Reward yourself with a glass of Chateau Jones!
Step 3: Make the sushi rice!
Step 4: Lay Nori on bamboo mat, squish on the sushi rice
Step 5: Watch as beautiful women take care of the rest!
Step 6: Cut em' up and eat!
If you like sushi, I HIGHLY recommend making some yourself! Not only is a lot of fun, its also WAY cheaper and in most cases fresher!

Porsche Panamera 4S~ Middle East Edition
This year at the Qatar Motor Show, Bernhard Maier lifted the cover of a very special Porsche model for the Middle East region - the Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition. The strictly limited 66 vehicles will only be available for sale in the Middle East.
One very special detail is that the white metallic paint has never been used on a Porsche before and includes the front air intakes, headlight washer system cover, rear apron and diffuser. The interior is upholstered in bright Carrera Red leather, including the doors and dash. An Alcantara black headliner also features in the interior, which is trimmed with carbonfibre, and comes with a steering wheel and gear selector wrapped in black leather. The Middle East special edition Panamera is based on the 4S - 400 hp 4.8-litre V8 with a 7-speed PDK automanual gearbox and all-wheel-drive, with the Sport Chrono Plus package installed as standard for the Middle East edition.
The basic retail for the Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition in the GCC region starts at 163,000 USD.
Mini Countryman~somewhere in china.
Under the hood, the Countryman boasts a 1.6L engine, with both 98-hp and 112-hp naturally aspirated options available. The Cooper S version comes with a supercharged 1.6L Tritec engine producing 184-hp and 240Nm of torque, and doing 0-100km in 7.6 seconds.
With no direct competitors in the domestic market currently, Mini’s Countryman should have a bright future in China.

Black Ferrari Crash
Somewhere between Luzern and Zürich a black Ferrari 599 crash into a truck. The 44-year old driver lost control and slipped. The estimated damage is € 190.000, so the car can be regarded as total loss.
Styled by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari’s Frank Stephenson, the 599 GTB debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006. It is named for its total engine displacement (5999 cc), Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari.
The engine has a maximum power of 456kW at 7600rpm and a maximum torque of 608Nm at 5600rpm. The Fiorano can achieve speeds in excess of 205 miles per hour, accelerating from 0 to 62mph in under four seconds.

Porsche 911 Black Edition-limited edition
Porsche has announced a 911 variant called the Black Edition, and this one is limited to just 1,911 examples globally, available in both Carrera Coupe and Cabriolet guise.
The 911 Black Edition is painted in plain black as standard, with Basalt Black metallic available as an option. For the cabriolet, the electric-folding hood is trimmed in black cloth. Other exterior highlights include 19-inch 911 Turbo II forged alloy wheels, and black-finished, four-piston aluminium monobloc fixed callipers.
There’s also black lettering on the stainless steel door entry guards to identify the version, and the interior continues with the theme – the leather is in black, as is the instrument cluster, though contrast is provided by aluminium-look paint, which adorns the decorative fascia strip, gear lever and air vents. A badge located on the glove compartment lid signifies the limited production variant.
Standard fitment includes a Bose surround sound system, specially coordinated with the interior, and in the Carrera coupe comprises 13 loudspeakers including an active subwoofer and central speaker as well as a seven channel digital amplifier; the cabriolet gets one less speaker, at 12.
The Black Edition is powered by a 3.6 litre flat-six pot, offering 345 hp at 6,500 rpm, and coupled to a six-speed gearbox, has a top speed of 289 kph in both body versions, with a 0-100 kph sprint time of 4.9 seconds for the coupe and 5.1 seconds for the cabriolet. With the PDK double-clutch seven-speed gearbox in attendance, this time drops to 4.7 seconds for the coupe and 4.9 seconds for the cabrio.
As is the case, add-on options abound – there’s the Sport Chrono Plus package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) to be had, amogn other things, to get the Black even well, blacker.

North American International Autoshow Pictures | Detroit Auto Show 2011
Most car guys (yea, I fall into that group) have always dreamed of going to what is arguably the biggest and most extensive car show in the world, the Detroit Autoshow (or technically the North American International Autoshow). Well this year my dream finally came true.
I got to spend the early part of this week working at the 2011 Detroit Autoshow. Working the show definitely has its benefits, the biggest one being able to get in before the show is open to the public. Thats right, no one stepping in front of the cars right before you press the shutter, no crying kids, no stupid people posing in cars they will only dream about owning someday. Working the show does have its downsides as well, mainly being you constantly get asked where the bathrooms are. I don't blame them though, it took me a good hour to find them too! My bladder was pretty happy when I finally did!
So if you didn't have a chance to checkout the show in Detroit this year, hopefully these photos will highlight what you missed (technically, as of this writing, the show is still open). I highly recommend it for any car guru, gearhead, or anyone that enjoys seeing state of the art automotive design. Enjoy!
Mercedes had a pretty awesome display
Lovin the new Audi R8 GT (and pretty much anything at the audi booth)
The new Mercedes SLS
The old Mercedes gulwing
Yup, thats a Bentley!
Lexus LFA anyone?
It deserved another shot...
This was probably one of my favorite cars there, the new Maserati Gran Turismo S
Ever seen those ken block videos? Yup thats the car!
This Mayback was probably the biggest "car" I've ever seen! Ridiculous!
The backseat room
I was sold after sitting in the massaging rear seats of the new Hyundai Equus, only $310,000 less than the Maybach, and pretty much the same features set!
The other end of the automotive spectrum
Tesla Roadster, the only electric car I wouldn't mind having
Audi R8 V10 GT
Hello potential next car
LED overload at the lexus display
LOVE the matte finish on the new Mercedes E-class AMG
CTS-V Race Car
Brand new Audi A6 (If you couldn't figure it out by the picture)
Mustang Racing at the Ford Display
The real thing, a boss mustang 302 running at 120MPH on the dyno... man that thing sounds incredible!
Tennis ball colored Mercedes SLS E-cell
New Subaru STI
The lone Ferrari at the show
