Over Christmas break my mom gave my dad and I the task of running out to the Rochester Public Market to fetch some fresh Grapefruits, Lettuce, Apples, and other assorted fruits and veggies. I'd been there before and I remember it being an awesome place to get some good photos, so naturally I brought my camera along for the ride. With a wind chill of 10°F it wasn't quite as crowded as usual, but it was still incredible to see how many farmers are still there, trying to make a living.

Rochester NY Public Market Photos
The Rochester NY public market is one of the coolest parts about Rochester. In an age of super walmarts and massive grocery stores it just feels good to get out and support local farmers. Don't just take it from me, because it actually won the 2010 America's Favorite Public Market award!
