Great Aunt Stella Center Wedding | Derick and Andrea

Derick and Andrea are some of the coolest people I know. Their wedding at the Great Aunt Stella Center in Charlotte, NC solidified that. I've had the awesome privilege of knowing Derick for a little over a year and I have to say Andrea is a perfect match for him. You guys have all the makings of a happy couple and I wish you the best in the future!

After shooting their awesome engagement session photos (still some of my favorites ever!), I knew it was going to be a fun wedding. I met them early in the day to capture their first sighting, then we headed to the local Marshall Park to get some gorgeous shots with the bridal party. After, we headed to the Great Aunt Stella Center for their beautiful wedding ceremony! The reception was at the Crown Plaza in Downtown Charlotte, NC and was full of fun, dancing, and lots of wedding cake. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Derick and Andrea Sneak Peak! | Charlotte NC Wedding

Here are a few of my favorites from Derick and Andrea's wedding yesterday in Charlotte, NC! These guys are so much just too much fun to be around! 

Greenville Engagement Photos | Vanida and Rick are Engaged!

Rick was born in Laos. Vanida was born in France. Somehow these two awesome people found each other. I'm glad they did! Rick and Vanida are awesome to spend time with. We shot their engagement photos at the very awesome i-car center just south of Greenville, SC. They were so much fun to work with and I'm excited to shoot their wedding, just a month from now! Westin Poinsett Greenville SC Wedding | Sarah Elizabeth and James are Married!

Sarah Elizabeth and James are pretty much the coolest cops I know. They are both Sheriff's at the Greenville PD (and might come in handy someday!). They have such a love for each other that it spills over onto everyone else around them. I knew as soon as I shot their engagement photos a few months ago that it would be a fun wedding, and it definitely didn't let me down!

Sarah Elizabeth and James were married at the always beautiful Cliffs at Glassy up in the blue ridge mountains at the very tip of Greenville county. After an intimate ceremony we headed to the Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville, SC for some photos, fun, food, and dancing. Their reception was in the Gold Room and was totally decked out with some really gorgeous details (check the photos!). Thanks again for having me guys! Enjoy the photos!!

Alright I think I've gotten all the web design out of my system for the week now!

Just finished putting the final touches on the next generation version of joshjonesphoto.com! Fresh New Blog Action!

I've been meaning to clean up this blog for awhile. It was getting a bit outdated, and frankly it was a bit cluttered. So tonight I played around with my best friends: HTML and CSS, and we created something fresh and new.

I don't post too many of my "posed" group shots on here (probably because I do mainly candid style photography) but everyone once in awhile I take one that I REALLY like. I took this shot during Sarah and James's wedding a couple weeks ago. The rain let up just long enough for us to run out and take this shot. Lots more to come soon!!
