Tia and Andy are so much FUN to work with. Tia's bubbly personality and Andy's awesome down to earth character just make them a lot of fun to be around. Their Rehearsal Dinner at La Bastide Vineyard was fitting. Awesome food, great drinks, and a lot of great conversation.

Rest and Relaxation

I have to admit, this wedding season has worn me out pretty good. I've shot more weddings this year than I've ever shot before. While this is an awesome thing and I love doing what I do, it can quickly become routine, just another weekend and just another wedding. Everyone needs a break every now and then...

Noticing this, my girlfriend Debra was begging me to get away for a weekend, to take a break. She was right (like she usually is about these things), and I feel a lot better now!

We spent the weekend up in Yadkin Valley, North Carolina spending some time exploring the country side, learning about and tasting wine, and eating some awesome BBQ. I'm halfway through wedding season now and I feel pumped and ready to go! My creative juices are flowing and I can't wait to photograph some more weddings.

Remember to make time to get away.

Katie and Jon are Married!!

I love when people do totally out of the box stuff for their weddings. Katie and Jon definitely got me excited about their wedding when they said that they would be arriving to the reception via helicopter! So cool!

Katie and Jon got married in Gaffney, SC at a beautiful church with lots of friends and relatives. The reception was a lot of fun with chocolate covered strawberries, dancing, and of course... causing trouble on the golf course! Here are just a few of my favorites from the day!

Katie and Jon's Rehearsal Dinner!

Katie and Jon had an awesome Rehearsal Dinner in Gaffney, SC a few weeks ago. Not only was it decorated beautiful, but all the details were a reflection of Katie and Jon's life.
